Could you answer these today?
Sooner or later you bet the business on a platform: tens of thousands of dollars over its life, chosen from polished demos and a gut feel for fit. The vendor shows you their best day. Nobody shows you whether it actually runs the way your business does.
The riskiest purchase in the business is the one made without the answers below.
The moment you sign, the vendor's onboarding team asks for these same answers, and they live nowhere but in your head and your ops manager's. Kickoff stalls. Later, when you try AI, it stays generic for the very same reason.
If you can't, you're not alone. But you're also at risk of footing an expensive bill in time, money, and stress.
Context changes that.
Rehash expertise, systems, & frameworks can help.
Better context. Better decisions.
Clear context doesn't magically fix the business. It changes the next move you make: for software, for AI, and especially for operators trying to make both work together.
Make confident & informed software decisions.
Avoid the expensive stalls that drag rollouts.
Avoid generic or poor responses from agents.
Minimize manual admin, repetitive tasks, and software issues.
Get the right data flowing so you can scale your business.
Setting up the right context in your systems helps you grow.
Get the context before you need it
Done before you choose, the same picture tells you what fits and carries through every step after. The frameworks behind it are published on the methodology page.
Expert Field Service Guidance
The Assessment is a guided engagement, not just a form you fill out. Most run across three working sessions, with the analysis happening between them, so the time we ask of you stays small while the picture stays deep.
Onboarding
A working session to set things up. Your requirements and systems go in through our Navigator platform, and we map your service mix, team structure, and what prompted the engagement, so the work starts from real access.
Review
We walk the initial findings with you and pressure-test them against the day-to-day. Anything we got wrong gets corrected, and where a decision needs deeper evidence we scope an Applied Assessment, only where it earns its keep.
Recommend
We deliver and walk the written report: the bottleneck named with evidence, the fit-based recommendation, and a sequenced roadmap, in a form your next software setup and any AI system can draw on.

Actionable Recommendations
Every call comes backed by the rationale behind it, generated through our recommendation model, so the thinking is transparent and yours to act on, this report and long after it.
How the business runs, written down.
With the evidence behind it.
Vendor-neutral, with the rationale.

One Assessment. Actionable Insights.
One product does the work, with applied deep-dive assessments tailored to your specific business needs. Done before you choose, it tells you what fits, and the same picture carries every step after.

Applied Assessments
$2,500 eachOptional add-ons that run the same method deeper on one slice of the business. Add the ones your situation calls for.
Not sure if one applies? Tell us during the consultation, and we scope add-ons with you, only where a decision needs the depth.
Bigger or custom scope? Acquisitions, multi-location rollouts, and PE diligence run as a Strategic Project, with its own scoping.

Either way, you walk out equipped. The questions that stall projects, the ones at the top of this page, are answered, and the risk is behind you. From here it is just how far you want to take it.
Confident Decisions
Want to take it from here? The report, the roadmap, and the named bottleneck are yours to act on with confidence, with your team or your own vendor. Foundations backs you up, from software shortlists to trial and demo playbooks. You are in a far stronger position than where you started.
Browse Foundations →Keep the Momentum
We already know your business, so we can help you keep the momentum going throughout your technology journey: guiding the rollout, and the software selection if you still need it. The expertise you just built carries straight into the work instead of restarting, and the same context flows in with it.
Learn about Deploy →A few things worth knowing
Who is the Assessment for?
Field service operators, typically around one million in revenue and above, who suspect their systems are limiting the business and want a clear picture before making changes.
Will you recommend a specific software platform?
The Assessment ends in a fit-based recommendation: software, systems, or both, matched to how you operate. Sometimes that recommendation is to keep what you have and tighten it. We are vendor-neutral either way, never paid to recommend.
How is this different from a vendor demo?
A demo is designed to sell a tool; it shows the vendor's best day. The Assessment is designed to understand your business: what to keep, what to fix, and what to replace, independent of any vendor.
What happens after the Assessment?
You keep the report and roadmap either way. If it makes sense, the context carries straight into Deploy for the rollout, Optimize for ongoing tuning, or Strategic Project Scoping for bigger moves. If the right move is internal or vendor work, the roadmap says so.
